Magic Chocolate Bar:

One piece (about 1/8) 25 kcal.

Recipe found here

Recipe:

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup 0 calorie sweetener

Optional add ins: chopped nuts, coconut, mint extract, etc

Mix all ingredients in a small pot over medium-low heat until it thickens.

Pour into a shallow container and freeze until solid.

One piece (about 1/8) 25 kcal.

So that means 100 for half or 200 for the whole thing.

I made it for when I'm about to go crazy on a binging spree, so I'll probably eat the whole thing. Still, that's 200 kcal for THIS:

Which is pretty huge if you ask me.

Yes, I have pretty small hands, but still...

ONE of these (mars mini):

Is about 83 kcal.

So two of these (which is about four bites of chocolate)

is almost as much as that entire bar of chocolate.

My opinion on this:

difficulty:

★ ★

Basically, you throw it all in a pan, mix it up, put it in the freezer and wait.

Easy as that.

Just make sure all the cocoa melts into the mix before you pour it into the bowl/shape,

because you don't want one bite of almost all cocoa.

That stuff is REALLY bitter.

Eating it is more difficult, as it melts in your hands pretty fast.

Taste:

★ ★ ★

It tasted like something inbetween milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate myself, but this was fine.

Not as creamy as normal milk chocolate, but then again,

it's less than half the calories, so I can't really complain.

Serving size:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

100 kcal for HALF this thing?

That's a piece of chocolate the size of my hand.

Serving size of this thing is perfect.
