Veggie 'burger': 125 kcal
Oven-baked potatoes: 150 kcal
(2 spoonfuls of ketchup: +/- 25 kcal)
Total: 275 (+25)
Recipe veggie burger:
1 small can black beans
1 small can chick peas
1 cup cooked quinoa
4 tablespoons chopped onion
4 teaspoon minced garlic
6 teaspoon taco seasoning
1 red chili peper (optional)
2 egg whites
Mix it all in the blender except the egg whites.
Then add the eggwhites and stir until it's a paste.
Store in freezer.
As you can see, the 'burger' wasn't much of a burger at all.
Even as I was making it I thought 'isn't this a little too much quinao?'
and then it fell apart in the pan and I thought 'yep, that was too much quinoa'.
Still, it tasted fine and it was surprisingly filling.
My opinion on the veggie burger:

Have you ever tried flipping something that was pretty much grain?
No? Well, it's really difficult.
I had to stay really focused the entire time the thing was baking to make sure
no part of it was unflipped for too long or it would turn black.

Other than the fact that it was a bit grainy it actually tasted pretty good.
I don't mind tasting the quinoa, I actually like the stuff, so maybe that's why,
but I did like the taste of that blob of goop that was supposed to be a burger.
There was no crunch, though, which was a bit sad,
since I like the crunch of a good veggie burger.

Serving size was good.
A little more than a regular burger, I guess.
If it had actually stayed together, this would've been my new go-to burger,
since it filled me up more than my regular burger, but without any extra calories.
My opinion on the oven-baked potatoes:
Difficulty:

Since I used pre-cooked potatoes, all I had to do was cut off the skin,
cut the potatoes into wedges, dribble with olive oil, salt and garlic powder
and pop into the oven for 10 minutes.
So it was long work (peeling pre-cooked potatoes is annoying),
but not hard work.

Like potato wedges, I guess.
Shocking, I know, potato wedges tasting like potato wedges, but I swear it's true.
It tasted like oven-baked potato wedges with garlic and salt.

It's actually kinda hard to tell, since I ate the blob of goop first and that was pretty filling.
So after I finished the potatoes I was pretty much stuffed,
but I don't really know how much of that was from the goop and how much from the potatoes.
These two are definitely a good combo meal, though.
